Do you ever wish the day would just Temporarily Stop for 24 hours in, say, a cool mid-afternoon, so we can get caught up on some of our To Do List?

It may seem like I’ve ignored my site and….ok, yes, I have.  It’s just taking sooo long to get my books done and I wanted to offer a choice when blasting Amazon.

The 007 plan is to lean toward more Text Versions (to keep the price down) on Amazon and the Full Color versions on this site.

Mr. Roberts comes to mind when we hear the word neighbor. His genuine warm smile draws us closer to the TV set, while he slips on his sweater and slippers. Kids look with awe and anticipation, tingling with feelings that everything is right in the world while the air is filled with homemade apple pie baking in the oven.

Don’t we all wish our neighbors were like Mr. Rogers? In Dreamland, maybe, but we can make some improvements by taking the lead—even if leading is not our normal character. It is possible to change an isolated neighborhood into a warm and fuzzy one with a Neighborhood Block Party or Sunday Soups. Well, if not warm and fuzzy, at least they are known and you and your family are more empowered. Chit-chatting with your neighbors has helped many throughout the nation change from anxiety to a sigh of relief and from a curtain movement when you pull up from work to a smile and Hi wave

There are ways to connect—even with the most difficult—encouraging a circle of happiness, joy, and self-esteem. Connecting a little with neighbors may make for a safer place for kids and pets who are out and about.

We all like a happy and safe home life and one way to accomplish this is to meet our neighbors and have periodic get-togethers every month or year. And what more fun way to do that than to have a cool Neighborhood Block Party? Sound like a good idea? Seem overwhelming? It’s as easy as pie with the suggestions that follow. To make this easy, there are samples of Themes, Flyers, check-off lists, organization tips, party activities, and how to enlist neighborhood volunteers for your Planning Committee.  There is information here that you won’t find anywhere else that will make your life easier and your club and monthly parties a success. You will manage it like a Pro!

Then again, there are times when the neighbors are nuts and evil and we just need to MOVE! Quickly.
