ok, since we can mention some ideas we got from Rosy’s books here’s an oldie but goodie.
When the kids and grandkids came over for dinner we played this video for them and everyone was jumping and laughing and even skipping they were so excited. and of course lots of hugs.
We are retired and this is a Christmas gift that will give joy every…[Read more]

Hiya Randy
Having cats and dogs it seems like a more homey home life with them around. It also keeps me on my balance watching out none are under foot. Good for the noggin.

Hi Daisy,
I like the private conversations here but it’s fun to post here, too! How are your cats doing? Cats seem to be more fragile when we rescue them. We just bought some special soft pet beds for them and we moved them by us in the family room by the fireplace.
They all love them. And so do our kids! 😉

We followed the superb advice about those huge boxes for the grandkids. We had to go to several big box stores with no luck. Funny, we went to the small independent store and got a couple and they even gave us the right tape to use.
They have been working on their playhouse since Christmas. In fact, it’s looking like they are getting more…[Read more]

Hi Seana,
I can well relate since I was in my 20s on my first trip. We went after a ball game so I’m sure the beer was a factor in it being a more fun day!
Still it is a great place and better then. He and his team were exceptionally bright and creative.
Rosy’s books will help inspire and motivate these skills from others again.

We blended Christmas and the holidays with a vacation and when he told me he’s never been to Disneyland I practically dropped!
We also decided to add it to visiting our relatives in the area and stayed with them. I can’t believe how much the prices have gone up and not impressed with the people working there now. Everything is difference but,…[Read more]

It was grand having the extended family come over for the holidays. Some drove across 3 states in pretty bad weather to get here and we went down to the big box stores and sports stores to get fold out canvas beds for a couple.
We set up a tent in the family room and threw some blankets and pillows down for the kids and you could hear them…[Read more]

and it was a lot less work making and cleaning up. And cheaper! We also made it a potluck type this year so people took their own dishes, casserole bowls and we got the extra chips and dips, which were soon consumed I admit by today.
Guess it’s gym time. Still guess ate 10,000 calories in 2 days.
Wishing everybody a good 2018!
